Quarantine in Ecuador (Day #7) + Ocean Sunset in Olón from Mini the Drone

Amelia and JP VLOG 199: We just finished our first full week of quarantine here in Olón Ecuador. We’ve been staying busy with work so the time is going by quickly, but we’re definitely have good and bad days.

On Saturday, I was freaked out. On Sunday, we both felt pretty good, probably thanks to our Live Stream and our sense of connection through our shared isolation. Yesterday, Amelia had a panic attack. We’re certainly on an emotional roller coaster (along with the rest of the world).

We were able to launch Mini (our DJI Mavic Mini) from the back yard and I flew her from the front window without leaving the house as per our 4PM toque de queda (curfew). She captured some beautiful beach drone video! The sunset was incredible and it was equally incredible to see the streets and beach of Olón completely empty during a high season sunset.

We’re going to host another live stream tomorrow, so hit the subscribe button and ring the bell if you haven’t already so you don’t miss it.

¡Cuidense mucho y nos vemos pronto!
