THIS PLACE IS LIKE A FAIRYTALE!

This cloud forest has been on Amelia’s bucket list since we moved to Ecuador nearly 5 years ago, and we finally made it!

It’s located just 2 hours west of Quito, and it’s a truly magical place. It’s very popular with foreign and Ecuadorian tourists, so the town is very tourist oriented.

The Mindo Cloud Forest is mostly known for the wide variety of butterflies and birds, including hummingbirds, toucans, tanigers and many more. It’s a bird watchers paradise!

But it’s also popular with outdoor adventurers who enjoy hiking, riding ATVs, river rafting, mountain biking, etc. If you’re an outdoors person, you’ll love Mindo Ecuador!
