Amelia and JP VLOG 226: We went back to Guayaquil to pick-up my repaired laptop and to renew Amelia’s passport, so we took a few extra days to enjoy the city and see some tourist attractions.
In this video, we walked along the Malecón 2000, visited the famous Iguana Park and stopped by the Guayaquil 200 Year Independence Day exhibit. We had Guayaquil built up in our heads to be this dangerous, seedy place aking to Mos Eisley in Star Wars, but it really surprised us! We LOVED the Malecón 2000 and the Iguana Park, and we felt very safe walking around the city. It certainly was NOT what we expected!
In next Thursday’s video, we’re going to share our hike up Santa Ana Hill to the lighthouse, as well as the new process for renewing US passports during the pandemic. Be sure to hit the subscribe button if you haven’t already so you don’t miss that video!
