Cuenca Ecuador Unconventionals + Post Protest Update

Amelia and JP VLOG 149: We hosted our monthly Unconventional Social Gathering this afternoon at Yaw Café in Cuenca Ecuador. It’s always fun to see some familiar faces and to meet new people. It’s the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 3PM so if you’re in Cuenca, we hope you can join us.

We still don’t have propane delivery at our house, but we’ve seen some gas trucks delivering to restaurants in our neighborhood. Hopefully they’ll get caught up soon. Trash service is back on its normal schedule.

The fuel subsidies have been reinstated pending a new agreement between the president and the other interested parties. We’re hopeful they can reach a reasonable compromise that will ensure economic stability while protecting the most vulnerable members of society.

Finally, we’re going to change our recording schedule a bit. We’ve really enjoyed sharing these shorter real-time videos so we’re going to continue doing it. Rather than post two 10-15 minute videos on Tuesday and Saturday at 2PM Eastern Time, we’re going to post one 10-15 minute video on Tuesday at 2PM ET and 1 to 3 short videos per week posted on the same day we record them. That will give you more real-time information and help you feel more connected to what we’re doing. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Hopefully you enjoyed our video, and if you did, please LIKE, COMMENT and SHARE it, and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel. ¡Muchas Gracias y Hasta Luego!
